Feds demand Medicaid backlog fixes in Kansas

Obama administration announces Medicaid
enrollment mitigation plan deadline to six states
The Obama administration has given Kansas and five other states until Monday to submit plans to resolve issues that have prevented more than 1 million low-income or disabled people from getting health coverage.

InterHab Move: Art Furnishings

When you visit the new InterHab offices, we hope you will enjoy the professional, comfortable and inspiring environment that is currently being planned by staff.

We want your new Association office space to live and breathe InterHab’s mission. Therefore, we’d like our members to help us accomplish something truly unique. Our goal is to exclusively display artwork created by Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

InterHab will supply the canvas and color palette. We’d like to ask InterHab members to work with persons within their organizations to develop beautiful and abstract paintings. InterHab will display the finished artwork, along with a small plaque commemorating your organization’s contribution.

Artwork created by Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities is the perfect way to illustrate the importance of the work you do each and every day.

If your organization is interested in participating, please contact Ashley Nadeau at anadeau@interhab.org for more information.

InterHab Move: Update One

With just a few weeks until InterHab moves its offices to the roof garden level of Jayhawk Tower, staff is busy making design and functionality decisions.

Last week Matt, Ashley, and Christa met with an interior designer who helped the team pick paint and carpet colors that best represents the InterHab brand.

Today Matt and Tom worked with the architect and demolition team to make final decisions on the new large conference room that will be used for onsite and webinar training sessions and meetings with membership.
